Welcome to the online home of the Spring Valley Kiwanis Club

Spring Valley Kiwanis is a group of approximately 40 men and women who are dedicated to making the world and the Spring Valley community in southeastern Minnesota a better place for children and young adults to live. With more than 13,000 clubs worldwide, located in 94 countries, Kiwanis’ motto is "Serving the Children of the World."

As a service club, our primary focus is to provide service to the community. Our current projects: Bike Safety Rodeo to provide bicycle training for children, community Halloween party, bell ringing for Salvation Army, daffodil sale to raise funds for American Cancer Society, Christmas in Fillmore County to provide gifts to families in need, rose sale to provide scholarships for local students, Student of the Month to recognize students excelling in academics, Citizen of the Month to recognize students for their community service, Key Club community service and leadership program at Kingsland High School, Builders Club community service and leadership program at Kingsland Middle School, Citizen of the Year to recognize outstanding community members, visitations to nursing homes, Pastor Recognition Day appreciation luncheon, Farmer Recognition Day to raise awareness of agriculture and handyman assistance to aid community members who need help around the home.

The Spring Valley Kiwanis meets every Wednesday at noon in the Spring Valley Community Center. You are welcome to join us. Just click on this link to send a message to our president so we can welcome you at our meeting.
